European projects: which Spanish city is best for your mobility project?

Choosing a destination for an Erasmus + or PO WER mobility project for vocational school students is a challenge. A number of different factors should be taken into account, such as accommodation, public transport, proximity to the airport, cultural offer of the city and, above all, the offer of internships.

Today, on the Universal Mobility blog, we want to share our experience with you and tell you which Spanish cities will be best for international work placements for various sectors.

The third largest city of Spain is an important industrial and technological center as well as a strategic place for transport and trade. In Valencia, the largest number of internship offers for beneficiaries of the Erasmus + program can be found in such sectors as: car mechanics, IT, logistics or polygraphy.

Located in the south of Granada, it attracts tourists from all over the world, and thus many services. VET learners of gastronomic schools (chefs, nutrition technicians, confectioners) and hotel workers will be able to take advantage of a wide range of practices in these fields. In addition, the Universal Mobility network includes social institutions (care for the elderly), farms (animal husbandry and breeding) as well as logistic, mechanical and hairdressing establishments.

We also organize courses for teachers in Granada. If your mobility project includes courses for school staff or people who want to improve their skills in working with people, we encourage you to check our courses leaded by a qualified psychologist and coach Anna Łuszcz.

When preparing a mobility project for students of construction, agribusiness and CNC, it is worth thinking about its implementation in Malaga. Like other Spanish cities, the offer of gastronomy and hotel practices is very wide.

Santiago de Compostela

Santiago is an important point on the gastronomic map of Spain. Gastronomy at the highest level will surely delight trainees and make the Erasmus + project high quality. Santiago, due to its climate, is also a good place for forestry, gardening and carpentry internships. What else? Information technology, mechatronics, hydraulics, mechanics, if we talk about technical sectors and graphic arts, cultural animation and tourism, for creative professions.

The companies from Seville cooperating with us are ideal receiving institutions for logistics (especially aircraft), administration or hotel management students. In addition, in Seville we often implement projects related to art, for example stained glass course.

Less popular sectors – will we find internships in Spain for all professions?

Spain is a big country with many possibilities! In addition to the above-mentioned sectors, Universal Mobility also has implemented projects for many other professions. You can find the full offer in the Internships tab.
